It would have been nice to drop the guy with a gun, but it still wouldn't have brought the kid back.

A gun wouldn't have helped here. As soon as you get stabbed with a 9-inch knife once, you're pretty much a goner. Let alone the multiple stabs this poor kid took. It may take a few minutes to bleed out, but that kid was as good as dead as soon as he let out his first yelp.

All a gun would have done would have been to achieve instant justice. But it wouldn't have prevented any deaths.

Re: Canada: Man decapitated on bus

Good parenting can correct mischievous kids. And I'm in favor of delivering a good spank to my young'n when she acts up.

But no amount of good parenting, spanking or not, can correct crazy. You can't do anything to somehow guide someone from not developing a serious chemical imbalance in the brain.

Seriously. Is there any other explanation for having a compulsion to cut up a living human being and eat them? Chemical imbalance, that's it. End of story. Parenting is irrelevant.

That's hardly evidence. A chart made in MS Paint that even says that the rate has been "adjusted" for something unmentioned.

You neocons are hilarious. Your response is essentially "If I close my eyes, it doesn't exist!" Nice.

yep, blame it on those damn hippies and pretend it doesn't exist, unless it's to prove their point of course. Then it's the greatest thing ever.

Right now the big thing in the media is large cranes falling over. I never heard of one falling over and now there is one every other day.

I am scared to walk by them!
