This is a third-year veteran who was actually called upon in the regular season last year. So he's not just training camp fodder. Bottom line is that the guys competing for the nickel corner position so far haven't done much to make a case for themselves.

On the play in question, Torrence had the coverage exactly where you teach it. Hardy has a height advantage on him, but more accurately, Losman's throw was just perfect to the inch. That pass could not have been defended without significant interference.

Tryon looked horrible at times yesterday, but he also did some good things too.

I agree on the Torrence play, it was just good execution by the Bills.

Tryon has been rough but it's to be expected from a rook.
