Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
I'm usually pretty optimistic, but I don't have a good feeling about this year at all. This game could be very bad.

After that, they went back to giving me that sinking feeling. Joe Gibbs started out 0-5, Marty did the same, and poor Ritchie Petitbon goes 3-13 in his first year. I think the odds are against Jim Zorn coming roaring out of the gates. I think a lot of people are going to look back at this very moment and wonder why they didn't see it coming. Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
I can't remember a prediction thread with this many people picking our opponents. Did everybody forget that we are the last team to beat the Giants and it was in NY and if Joe Gibbs wasn't so conservative we probably could have ended the Giants season in the third week last year. The presason has really messed some people up. Ask yourselves this. What if Jim Zorn is smarter than you give him credit for and hasn't shown anything this preseason for a reason?

I think Zorn is smart enough to get his playmakers the ball in a position to make plays. He wasn't able to do that in the last two preseason games with the 1st teamers, but I'm sure he will figure it out sooner rather than later. |

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
G-men 30
Skins 24 G-men win partly because we are still sorting out our new offensive system and it will be a night full of emotion because the Giants are going to be at home for the first time since they won the Superbowl. |

Actually, the last time we played an opponent dealing with any type of significant emotions other than the game itself was.... against the Giants in the Meadowlands. Their owner Wellington Mara had just passed away, and the Giants came out and kicked the shit out of us 35-0.

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
Giants 27
Redskins 10 Sorry, but for a different outcome, I feel that the Redskins defense needs to score some points. |
