Not entirely accurate...sportscenter was analyzing the game, and Tim Hasslebeck just showed Cooley open with Campbell missing the fact that he was actually WIDE OPEN. Campbell is missing his reads. You can't blame all of this on Zorn.

Fred Davis was inactive for yesterday's game. Even so, I think Yoder is the one who would be helping with pass protection, right?

Jason's got a lot to learn with this offense. It's obvious. He still has to learn to get rid of the ball earlier. But ya know, Zorn also needs to learn to manage the game better as well. This year is going to be a learning process for both the coaches and the players. If you're expecting perfection right out of the gate, you're seriously mentally ill.

Every year there's a built-in excuse for this team.

There are reasons for winning and reasons for losing. I don't know why we can't discuss things like that without getting slapped with the excuse label.

Re: JC is not what I thought.

Hey nobody can argue that great QB play in the NFL makes any team legit. I sure as hell want JC to be a bad ass, but I was so disgusted tonight because it seemed that JC was sitting on the shore of his country home chilling out with no care in the world. Thanks, but you are fired.

Re: JC is not what I thought.

We will see by mid season if JC is/will be a good QB in this league with the new offense. Thing is he has the same tendencies as last year even with a new look. I think by mid season for sure he will find a groove and excel. If not, the Start Brennan threads will be hot.

Re: JC is not what I thought.

The thing is fans, this is the first true game that counts for this offense and Jim Zorn. You go on the road to face the defending Super Bowl champions. Your team comes off of some pretty awful showings in its last couple preseason games. Your coach is a rookie. Your offense is brand new. You QB has to learn his third offense in his what, four years as a pro? What does common sense tell you? The odds were long against this team winning tonight. Still, that doesn't mean us as fans should throw in the towel? Not what I'm suggesting. But, if some of you are going to get on this forum board and start bitching and complaining and dissecting each and every little point of Jason Campbell, Jim Zorn, the Redskins franchise, and so forth and so on, then I honestly don't see why you're wasting your talents on doing so with a football team. Use that scrutiny toward solving the oil crisis in America, or solving the homeless problems, or balancing this country's budget. Heck, I'm sure some of you guys could probably be qualified to be President if you did so! But, as for the Redskins, just ride the ride, cheer the team on, and see where this season takes us. We have a long ways to go, but you have to start somewhere, and sorry if it's not possible for us to start off in glory to wind up in glory.

I don't really see how someone's political beliefs, Republican or Democrat, would have anything to do with this discussion about Jason Campbell.
