He wasn't efficient today, and hurt the team today more then he helped it. Whatever. He'll be back there again in Week Two. Retarded Thread.

Re: JC is not what I thought.
You're right: Jason Campbell is regressing. We have a major problem at QB. He looked lost out there and held the ball way too long.

Re: JC is not what I thought.
Put in collins, He spanked the giants 8 months ago, he won 4 in a row, he's still got momentum. He should be this teams captain, he can guide this team better than JC. Having him in is the best chance we have.
Just like in Arizona, sit the sucker, start the veteran

Didn't want to be a dick, but I have to agree. Read for awhile and learn your away around before repeatedly sticking your foot in your mouth.

Re: JC is not what I thought.
So then basically the general consensus is that Jason Campbell is not cut out to be a first string quarterback, correct?

Re: JC is not what I thought.
I'd like to see Campbell be a huge success because i've never had anything against him but judging from what i saw today and this preseason I really don't think he's playing like a first string QB should play. I never thought Colt would get a chance at playing in Washington because you have 2 good QB's but the way JC is playing right now I wouldn't get mad if they put him in. It doesn't matter who's the QB as long as it's the QB who gives you the most chance to win wether it be Collins, Campbell, or Brennan but IMO i don't think that guy is Campbell but hey I might be wrong...

Re: JC is not what I thought.
I think JC is a fine QB, it's just that we Redskin fans have ridiculously irrational expectations for what our passing offense should look like in week one of year one of a totally new system.
Look how long it took Hasselbeck to get up to speed in Seattle. I've been saying around here for weeks but nobody wants to listen to the harsh truth: 1) Those preseason performances were not a mirage and 2) Our passing offense will struggle this year as JC tries to learn it There's a very slim chance we'll be any better than mediocre until the second half of the season.
