Seriously, what the fuck has this board become? This thread didn't start terribly, however, it somehow turns into Jason Campbell being called a bitch and people assigning political affiliations who are actually making decent points. This is quite possibly the worst thread I've ever seen on this site and it's got nothing to do with the idea behind the thread, just the manner in which it's being discussed.

Campbell was very, very slow tonight in his reads. To me, that totally 100% backs up Schneed's hypothesis that he's not comfortable yet in the offense. Apparently to you, that means everything you've seen from him in 20 starts was a mirage, and that he's "a bitch" (which is totally meaningless to us).

Schneed's pretty smart, and I think I'm going to side with him on this one. I'll review the game tomorrow.

Nobody here is implying that Jason Campbell played great or even average tonight. We all see that he has A LOT to learn with this new offense. We all know he played a bad game. But man, this IS the first game of the season. If the guy continues to struggle and doesn't look like he's making progress, then crap on the guy then if you must. But, give him at least a few games to redeem himself. It isn't like he's been playing in the same offense for the last four years.
