That is why he hired someone who didn't have a lot of experience. To coaches like a Cowher that makes this even a bigger challenge. Win where no one else has.

You don't think this would go on in a interview:

BC: Dan you fired Zorn after only one year. WTF?

DS: I told Zorn you got one year to make it happen (must get X number of wins to be considered succesful), consider your first year like a one year interview, prove to me you can be a head coach.

BC: Ok, give me complete control and 10 million deal done.

If Synder doesn't already have a rep amongest HC as being a hard ass I would be surprised. Firing Zorn after one year isn't going to change Danny's rep.
