The Redskins had plenty of guys that were just as bad. Our beloved Joe Thiesmann was banging Cathy Lee Crosby in his hotel room during the SB week when we got our asses handed to us by the Raiders. At the time Joe was married and I believe he got caught in the act. That never made it to the press but it's a true story. Doc Walker all but confirmed it on the radio last year.
That's alot different than some of the stuff going on w/ the Da boyz. Alot different.

It just seems like we hear alot more about drug issues w/ the Cowboys than other teams. If I had the time I'd do some research...maybe I'm wrong.

I just don't remember seeing any throat slitting, cocaine possession-probation, coverup, perjury related things on the Redskins lately....or ever. Maybe I'm off base.

No really different.

I get a kick out of guys saying how terrible this is when they would give anything to to be on a championship team, knowing you are great, running with the guys, and having a great time no matter what mayhem you cause. Jealousy is an interesting thing.

The idea that an extramarital affair is not really different from slitting someone's throat over a place in line is retarded. So, do you think (a) that people who have affairs should be sentenced to years in prison, or (b) that people who slit throats should get no jail time? Because, if the two acts aren't really distinguishable, you should believe either a or b.

I know you think you are the purveyor of truth and the rest of us are blind, dumb, homers, but your perception of the Redskins and Redskins fans is downright comical. You and those blind homers are two sides of the same coin.

irish probably didn't cite the best examples. Even those would be suspect at best though.

The story of Ricky Sanders's hit and run, Rafel Cherry's murder of his wife (post Redskins years), Emmitt Smith's story instantly reminded me of Darrell Green of course. With Wilburn, Peters, and Timmy Smith (again post Redskins years) we've of course had our share of cocaine possessors/distributors.

I suspect there are worse things that the Redskins have done (that even I don't know, no Charles Haley's as best as I know), and other teams as well. But it seems as though what the Cowboys did back in the day is at another level. And this shouldn't be brushed aside, especially because they claim to be "America's Team"
