I meant it when I said that you are welcome here, provided you have a genuine interest in thoughtfully discussing issues related to the Redskins. You are not the only person on this board who dislikes Snyder. Moreover, it's fine to criticize the team and/or Snyder if you do it in an intelligent and thoughtful way.

I merely cautioned you against trolling because we get a lot of trolls on this board and your previous posts were one-liners with little substance (i.e., classic troll posts). I could be wrong and maybe you are not trolling. If that's the case, I apologize for sounding a little harsh.

Don't you guys get the feeling that the Skins are not intimidated by playing the Cowboys and the Giants under Zorn than they were with Gibbs II?

This team seems to be comfortable taking advantage of their breaks and cashing in on the other teams turn-overs. Just wondering what the Jason Taylor lost will do for our pass rush.

Re: Cowboys Wk 4

As much as I hate Dallas I doubt if we'll be able to contain them for the simple reason that we don't have anyone in our secondary that can match up with TO. Sean was the guy that kinda allways kept TOs head on a swivel and the fear that he instilled in him showed on the field. We all "hate to love" TO but he is indeed the best reciever in the game. Had TO played in that week 17 game at FedEx last year the outcome would have been different. Sean missed the first game in Dallas and TO showed off with 3TDs and didn't even care about anyone on our defense. Count on TO being Springs' responsibility next week...which doesn't sound too good considering that TO has always had Springs number (going back to his days in Seattle, ie. Sharpie). Unless we find out what Green Bay did to stop him, look forward to our secondary getting man handled. This one could very well be a shootout

Gotta disagree with you. T.O. is great I'll admit, But I gotta give it to Randy Moss. I have seen T.O. drop way too many passes over the years to crown him the best.

Randy Moss only knows how to run one route...his age is starting to catch up with him and when his speed is gone you will see how great he REALLY is...Owens is a balanced WR while he's both fast and is a possesion reciever which he will have to rely on when his speed is gone...mark my word TO will outlast Moss in this league...and Moss is insignificant without a QB just as he was in Oakland...I don't care what team you put TO on he will still distinguish himself from the rest

What evidence do you have to support this? Randy Moss went to a HORRIBLE Raiders team that didn't even want to throw his way. And he only knows how to run one route?! Come on, man you dont break the single season touchdown record running only one route.

I call BS.
Put Owens on the Rams, or Miami, and he will disappear. Well minus the crying and bitching to get him the ball, or trade him to a good team. Moss had to suffer on one of the worst teams in the NFL in oakland.

Here is who Owens had throwing the majority of the passes to him over the years.

Steve Young (hall of famer)
Elvis Grbac (pro bowler without TO fyi)
Jeff Garcia (4 time pro bowler)
Donovan McNabb (5 time pro bowler, possible HOFer when career is over)
Drew Bledsoe (4 time pro bowler and possible HOFer)
Tony Romo

Here is who Moss had throwing to him:

Randall Cunningham
Brad Johnson
Jeff George
Dante Culpepper
Kerry Collins
Andrew Walter
Aaron Brooks
Tom Brady (only 1 season mind you)
Matt Cassel

Which list would you rather have to this point? Keep in mind you'd only get Brady for 1 season.

ps- there have been several comments about Moss's polished route running. He is a complete WR. Also, Moss has 126 TD's and Owens has 134 tds...only 8 different, yet Owens is 4 years older.

Great post jsarno! My friend and I had this same conversation the other day and I brought up qb's respectively.

Your coming off stupid....did it occur to you that TO makes the QBs life alot easier....he often draws so much attention that guys are left unaccounted for (ie. Miles Austin last night). TO makes the QB look better which is why he's the greatest. And for the record Pro Bowls are not valid method of evaluating talent (you sound like a Dallas fan). You ask any DB in the league who they'd rather face, guarantee you TO would be the last...he embarasses Champ for gods sake...

I gotta agree with you. TO is certainly an elite WR, but his dropsies are holding him back from being the best. Even this week he dropped a perfect pass right in his hands vs GB. Missed another that was "catchable" but I doubt they called it a drop. Throw in his emotions and his ability to kill chemistry, and he drops on my list even farther.
Really is a shame he's bipolar (or at least seems like it), the man is physically a beast. Ever since David Boston left the league, Owens is the unquestioned leader in amazing physical fitness among WR's.

Do you think it's bipolar or just amazingly selfish? Have you ever seen someone look so miserable during a big win as TO did last night? He wasn't smiling once, and I'll bet every penny I have it's because his stat line was 2 rec, 17yds. Straight up SELFISH. Why do you think Romo took that unnecessary shot at the endzone to TO when the game was well in hand? Guaranteed TO asked for that. I hate the dude.

But yeah, he's a physical freak.

He acts bipolar to me, but it could be an unparalleled selfishness. Either way, you're right.

Re: Cowboys Wk 4

When were we ever intimidated playing the Cowboys? Not since I have been alive( I am 38). They might have had a nice streak going on us from late Norv through Spurrier, but I can't ever say we were initmidated by them. Even with the games we lost, most were decent and were fairly close. Shit, in '95 even good ole Gus gave us a sweep of them Boys and that was in their last years of their last dynasty. Put simply, bring them bitches on!!!!!!
