When you think about it, this is the kind of offense where the QB needs to get the ball out quickly, so sometimes it's going to appear that he's not going through all of his reads when in reality he's just throwing to his 1st or 2nd option who just happens to be open. He's done a good job at checking down, which is an indication that he is going through his reads when he has to.

3rd down conversions is an issue, but against the Cards we were 5 of 11 which is an improvement over the first 2 weeks.

Also, if he were truly staring down his receivers, he would have thrown a few picks by now. It's not like safeties in this league don't pick up on that.
