I think, if elected, McCain/Palin will be similar to Bush/Quayle where the VP is essentially there to appeal to those far-righters but once in office will play a very, very small role.

There's a big difference between sticking your foot in your mouth and being completely clueless about the issues.

Biden might be a firecracker who shoots his mouth off, but at least he's knowledgeable about what's going on. Palin looks as if she hasn't even picked up a newspaper in the last five years.
