Aikman is one of the most fair analysts on TV. He calls it how he sees it regardless of team or personal affiliation with players. I really enjoy hearing him during games. I'm not a big Joe Buck fan, but I do like Aikman.

Did Emmit mention how the cowboys were "debacled".

Aikman is the best analyst in my book. He's fair to both sides, and he's not afraid to be critical of players or officials when warranted. Best of all, he NEVER harps on his prior glory days as a player, even though he was one of the best QBs of his time.

Aikman is the best, no doubt about that.

Well, I don't think it's outrageous to suggest that a team considered to be the best in the league should not allow their oldest rival to dominate them at home.

I will give Aikman credit. You'd never know that he was a lifelong Cowboy by the way he was calling the game.

I can't stand Dallas, but Aikman is one of my favorite commentators. He's pretty fair, football smart, and good at breaking down plays.

And that is one of the things that makes him so good. Aikman has always been articulate and objective as a broadcaster..... which is really to his credit when you consider Lavar almost knocked his brains out.

Re: Emmitt Smith:"cowboys should never let this redskins"

The funny thing is that the Eagles LOST to Dallas, and everyone was talking about how great they looked the next day. We WON and they still downplay it and the reason is that they don't WANT the Redskins to be good. For whatever reason they (Reporters, Journalists, Analysts, Talking Heads) can't deal with it.

Other teams get enthusiastic hype while we get grudging acknowledgement. Sending McNabb and the Eagles to 2 -3 at home will only make them hate us that much more. They have high hopes for Donovan this year. Tom Jackson will be inconsolable if McNabb loses which will be a joy to watch.

Aikman is one of the better analysts in the biz right now.

Yeah. I don't always agree with some of the things he says but heis pretty straight and doesn't say stupid stuff. I do dislike Buck for some reason. He comes off a little too superior i think. He's not old enough to do that yet.

Emmitt is a big time homer, and he's awful as a broadcaster.

The only problem I had with Aikman yesterday was that he called Betts a great blocker. Yeah...not so much.

Emmitt is...man he is tough to watch. I like Keyshawn a lot. I didn't think I would, but I really do.

Emmitt as a broadcaster reminds of when Eric Dickerson was doing the sideline on MNF. I just always wonderered who the hell gave that guy that job. Was there even an audition involved or did they just slap him on the sideline and hope his name would carry him through?

Key has grown on me I hate to admit.

I remember Dickerson as probably the biggest train wreck of any broadcaster ever! My Dad and I used to look at each other after a Dickerson interview and ask if either one could understand a word he said. My old man said next time they should hire someone who spoke english. LOL!
