Big up to Greg Blache!!!
With all the love going to Zorn, which is well deserved, a lot of credit also has to go the Blache. Zorn for the most part leaves the defense to him. I have really liked his style of bend but don't break. With the offensive moving the ball and scoring points, the defense seems like it can really defend the big play and not have to worry about totally shutting out the other team, because of poor offensive play.

Re: Big up to Greg Blache!!!
I remember Matty and a couple others giving Blache credit. The thing that really impresses me is how injuries are not the factor they once were. We won in Philly w/o our 2 best players on d (arguably) and Marcus. I think that is just incredible. Blache seems to coach up the whole defense and help guys like Torrence, Horton, Evans, Blades... and even others become high quality backups, substitutes or starters. Blache commands the respect of his guys and it shows week in and week out - he's also fantastic at making adjustments.

Re: Big up to Greg Blache!!!
Here was my tip of the hat to Blache, but I have no problem with another Blache thread. The guy is doing a great job.

Re: Big up to Greg Blache!!!
I've got to eat some delicious crow. Entering the regular season, I didn't really trust GB and made my feelings known. He's earned my trust and vindicated Snyder's decision to let Grilliams go and hand the team over to Zorn and Blache.

Blache has done well throught five games. Last week with so many starters out and still do well is outstanding in any book!

Re: Big up to Greg Blache!!!
again so far so good talk to me come playoff time..but i like what i,ve been seeing thus far....he has simplified things and has gotten his players respect and attention it seems.
things aren,t as confusing as compared to greggs defense..

Re: Big up to Greg Blache!!!
I had the same feelings too. I didn't think our defense was going to be as good as it was with Williams. Blache totally prove me wrong. Guess you have to pass me a slice of that crow pie.
