Re: Redskins vs. Lions predictions

I think this game will be another epic fail for Detroit. I'm not looking past them, but we are simply a much better football team in every aspect.

Offense:
I think Portis goes for over 100 and 2 TDs. I think Campbell goes for 250+ and 2 TDs. Moss has a 100 yard game, Cooley has 75 yards and TD. Inevitably a few of our drives will stall, so I think Suisham hits a pair of FGs. Portis is pretty nicked up right now, so I'd like to us have this one in hand early and get him some rest after the 3rd qtr.

Defense:
Orlovsky may get benched by halftime for Drew Stanton. Either way, we've got some fresh meat at QB for the D to feast on. We better get some damn sacks this week. I think we're good for a pair of INTs. I could see Fletcher snagging one because our pressure is going to force some short, hurried passes. I think Carlos or Laron will come up with a pick as well with Orlovsky trying to force a few balls to a well covered Calvin Johnson. They might not get 50 yards rushing in this one.

In the end it will be a convincing win, 34-6 Redskins.
