However with Evans, Jackson, James, Wilson, and Carter on the roster, it's very unlikely . With that said none of us really thought about Alexander but with an injury at a thin position and a player available that had experience with a coach we pounced on it. Still we do not have anything close to that situation so for all you Maddenites don't get your hopes up.
If the this was Madden, somehow we'd have an entire HOF team, including Sammy Baugh.

If only...

As a vested veteran Gbaja-Biamila is entitled to his full base salary of $6.1 million this season unless he’s claimed by another NFL team on waivers.
unless somebody else gets hurt on another team,i can't see anybody picking him up with6million dollars as a price tag!

this is a winner. if it looks like a rat.... something stinks here. its not like green bay is leading the league in sacks. probably alittle more to it, then meets the eye

Re: KGB released

would'nt surprise me if the vikes or the bears pick him up!they would get more out of the investment than any other team would.

Three years ago he was a stud and then he just dissapeared. I thought he had been traded.

Bet the Eagles or Giants make a run for him. He's still good as a situational pass rusher.

Giants are #1 in Sacks.......why would they go after him,you guys are the ones that need him.

Re: KGB released

I doubt he comes to our division, the giants dont need him, the Eagles won't pay him enough, the cowboys and the redskins will not need them when the injuries are healed. I'd think he will end up in the AFC.

He had 9.5 sacks last year. But suddenly he can't seem to crack the starting lineup.

Re: KGB released

It's not an all of a sudden thing for KGB...he hasn't been a starter on that line since the '05 season. He was used mainly on passing downs...his problem is he's a speed rusher that has lost his speed. Which means he's probably too slow to convert to LB or SS as well.

So unless someone is in desperate need of a DE right now, he'll probably retire and stay there.

Re: KGB released

We have met the fat ass quota for the year, check out our punter. Leave KGB alone, GB has little pash rush and he wasn't playing, there's a big reason for this.

Re: KGB released

I wouldn't call KGB a fat ass...in fact at 6'4", 250, he might still be playing if he was a fat ass...

cdskins26 - look up a bit in the thread...GMScud listed his age as 31.
