The Patsies have a good situation, a solid backup quarterback. Brady is still the guy, but if I were the Patsies owner, I would keep Cassell for insurance not unless someone offered me a Hershall Walker deal.

Cassell is going to command a pretty sweet contract on the open market, and a starting job as well. The Pats won't be able to keep him unless for some crazy reason he decides he doesn't want to start elsewhere.

I read somewhere that Bill "steroid freak" Romanowski predicted this would happen (obviously the steroids warped his brain). It ain't gonna happen!! How many superbowls has Brady won? 3 How many has Cassell won? NONE

2 400 yard passing games are not going to give him the job fulltime unless Brady's knee is totally screwed up.
