Caps call up Alzner from hersehy
Riddled with injuries, the Washington Capitals called up 4 from the Hershey Bears, including three pretty good prospects, one of which is their 2007 first round draft pick, Karl Alzner.

Clark hasn't played well at all this year and his presence won't be missed that much. Bourque is likely up for him. Mink is likely in place of Boyd Gordon who will miss a few games. What is unclear. If Lepisto or Alzner is up for Schultz, because whichever is, will be up for at least 4 weeks.

Is Alzner playing tonight? I'm going to my first Caps game in a couple of years and it'd be pretty cool to get to see his debut.

Yes. All four Hershey Call ups are on Lines tonight because of injuries. Alzner will be paired with Jurcina. Lepisto with Morrisonn.
