Re: 4th Quarter Season predictions
It's gotta be 3-1 at a minimum, we may even get 4-0, but the Ravens will be a hard one to win. We will end the season at a minimum of 10-6

Re: 4th Quarter Season predictions
in our preseason record poll i guessed we'd go 8-8 give or take a game based on shazamm hitting or missing a late fg with us needing a late season run to make the playoffs. (reason for going 8-8 and not lower b/c of new HC is b/c we have a solid to great D core which would keep us in games)
this is a typical redskins season and this year is no different. if i had to predict the skins record for 2020 it would be 8-8 give or take a game and needing a late season push for the playoffs. we are who we thought we are to use coach green's over-used adage. ps - i didnt predict us needing 10 wins for a wildcard spot, thats just crazy but a growing reality. |

Re: 4th Quarter Season predictions
2-2 at best (lose to Balt & Philly) but I can see 1-3 with a loss to SF in SF if the Skins are officially out of the playoffs.

Re: 4th Quarter Season predictions
2-2. We lose to Baltimore and Philly. No playoff this season.
Unfortunately, we're fading at the finish. Stop Clinton Portis and this team has no other significant offensive weapons. Still 9-7 is far better than many thought for a rookie coach. |

Re: 4th Quarter Season predictions
I can't figure the best thread to post this, I know it has been said in several, but here are the records the teams we have lost to:
NY Giants (11-1) Division Leader (2 losses) Pittsburgh(9-3) Division Leader Dallas (8-4) (Split 1-1 on season) St. Louis (2-10) last place (Our loss came after their bye AND first game with a new head coach So, we are not elite, but at the same token, other than Baltimore we have no reason to think we won't beat the other 3 teams on our schedule. Yes the wins haven't been pretty, but they have been wins. |

Re: 4th Quarter Season predictions
2-2 I think. Given the power shift in the conference over to the NFC South (anyone who still thinks the East is better is smoking something), I believe we're gonna have to win out to make it. And that isn't going to happen.
I'm not even thinking about the playoffs at this point. I'm doing my best Jim Mora, Sr. imitation. I'm just thinking about how we're going to score a single point against Baltimore's D. We stink at night on National TV. However, we aren't playing at home, so we may actually win.

Re: 4th Quarter Season predictions
Also, all the teams we have beat have a 7-5 or worse record (except Dallas), so I think it is fair to say, we are what the record says we are: an above average team, that wins against the lesser opponents, and loses to the better teams. With that in mind, we will probably lose to Baltimore, but we will win the other three. (We could beat Baltimore, just like we beat Dallas once).
Bad thing is, that doesn't bode well if we do make it into the playoffs

Re: 4th Quarter Season predictions
Before the season I said we were most likely an 8-8 team. When we sat at 4-1 and then 6-2, I scoffed at my preseason prediction. Now I'm reverting and giving myself a little more credit. Unfortunately I think we'll only beat my prediction by 1 game at best.

Re: 4th Quarter Season predictions
It's coaching sabatoge.....we will end up 7-9 and get a decent position in the draft. about middle of the road. Only cause we are not Detroit.
just kidding. The way we have been playing I don't know. We have been playing to the level of our opponent up until last weekend with the Giants. When I say that I mean we played Dallas hard, Pitt hard and several other teams but looking at the Cardinals, Rams and Detroit we played to their level. So having said that and no offense...I can see 7-9. Baltimore will win. They have the better defense. We play terrible when playing better defenses. The Bengals know how to put points on the board. Simply look at how they played the Giants. Depending on which 49er team shows up ....more then likely the Monday night 49ers and they will score more even though they look horrible doing it. We might beat the Eagles. I'm not sure but the Eagles need to even the score with us and so far we have not been good in the division the second time around. We are probably somewhere between a 7-9 team and a 9-7 team to be honest. |

Re: 4th Quarter Season predictions
3-1 at best, 1-3 at worst. So I'll go with 2-2, with losses to Baltimore and Philly.
