JC is part of the offense and to be honestly has to also be held accountable. He is still doing things he did in the beginning of his being a starter and holds on to the ball too long at times like Ramsey did most of the time. Like Patrick he hesitates to run with it when he could make a first down or more. This crap( and throwing a ton of INTs) cost Ramsey his starting position and probably his pro career. JC needs to step it up like everyone else. I have been a Skins fan for a very long time. You can't say JC doesn't have the ingredients anymore than one could say the same with Ramsey or even Frerotte. Both of those guys had Wrs making dumb drops(Westbrook, Gardner come to mind), stupid penalties and banged up RBs(Allen, Davis) and O linemen(Lachey, Uhlenake, Raymer). Great QBs take charge of the game and make things happen on their own if need be!!!!!! The honeymoon with JC is over. He needs to show us what he can do or step aside and give a new guy a try at it!!!!!

Are you, or are you not trying to claim that Campbell has not been any more productive than Ramsey or Frerotte?

I need to ask you before I waste a lot of time proving the obvious.

I thought you knew by now JC was going to go down in history with the likes of Ramsey... Frerotte... Jeff George... Tony Banks... Shane Matthews... Danny Wuerffrel...

Nope, just saying JC has to harbor part of the blame like anybody else. Before I came on here I was part of the Post's online forum bunch. Basically they bitched about the same things we do since the Frerotte days. Wideouts like Westbrook, Connell, Gardner, etc dropping a lot of balls, the oline being banged up, or RB being banged up, etc. The lack of a pass rush and dumb penalties have always been a bitching point since Norv. My point is that previous Skins QB's have had to deal with this stuff, but they still got their share of the blame for their screw ups. I do not see why JC is some kind of frigging saint and he is a sacred cow on this team. The guy so far is average at best.

How about we blame him for things that are his fault. Did you consider that?

Hopefully this is when we break that 3rd quarter slump.

Re: Redskins vs. Ravens game day thread

I dont like the way anyone is playing tonight or have i for the last 3 weeks. theres no leader on this team and someone needs to step up and be just that. no heart right now. that's the way i see it. everyone needs to step up and earn their paycheck.

i don't think this offense can be laid at the feet of Jason Campbell he plays hard but he needs more than portis to help him

We're about to move the ball on these guys... let's establish the run game. Hit 'em with Cooley across the middle.

Re: Redskins vs. Ravens game day thread

Boy, the way the defense is playing tonight, if we could just get ONE touchdown on offense, we could put Flacco in a position to make a mistake.

But then again, one more turnover and this game is over.
