Re: Redskins vs. Ravens game day thread

Sad thing is that unless we get 9-10 here, we have to kick the FG.

WTF!!!!! I don't get it. I mean JC isn't a bad QB, but he is no better than an average QB. Every other QB post Gibbs I has dealt with these same problems that JC has(especially the poor boogs that played under Spurrier with the oline stuff). I mean if the guy wants to discuss Colt why not. IF the Skins falter again next season JC won't be resigned period. He will have had the same time if not more than recent WBs of memory to have proven himself of being able to lead this team. The QB on an NFL team is supposed to be a LEADER!!! JC is an average NFL QB and doesn't seem to be trying to lead this team at all or try and get this team fired up. To call anyone a moron just because he thinks it might be time to start thinking about giving Brennan a shot is moronic in itself. Some of you guys act like this guy is going to be like Theismann or Jurgenson someday. Well, I am sure you can forget about it. He has had ample time to prove himself and so far the verdict is he is an average to good QB that might not be able to make the next jump to being a great or HOF QB.

Let me see here.

Brennan has never taken a snap in a regular season game.

Brennan struggled mightily in half of the preseason games he played in against 3rd stringers.

Brennan is struggling as a 3rd stringer in practice at Redskins Park.

Brennan has never practiced with the first teamers or otherwise developed a rapport with the receivers.

The coaches think Brennan isn't as good as Collins and have therefore placed him as the #3 QB.

To my knowledge, Brennan hasn't even dressed for a single game.

Campbell has a QB rating in the mid 80s, but has struggled against the #1, #2, #3 and #8 defenses in the league.

But, yeah, lets start Brennan. The Redskins fans' tendency to think the grass is always greener on the other side is alive and well.

I think everyone should copy this and save it in a word file. Any time someone makes a post about Colt Brennan starting this season, this should be the answer...repeatedly.

Man, now our defense become obsolete? Ugh.

Re: Redskins vs. Ravens game day thread

If we are kicking a FG here, that time out was borderline 'tarded.

Does it seem like we never move the QB out of the pocket? What ever happened to the bootleg?
