If there's an improvement out there, fine sign him up and cut Suisham.
But looking back we might we probably should have just held on to Brooks at punter. Plackemeier blows. So with Suisham, I just don't see the point right now. Ride him out and reevaluate things in the offseason. |

Releasing Suisham does nothing. We have no idea of knowing how close he is to breaking through his mental block. No kicker is immune to these things. Today, the one he missed was from 48, so it's possible he might have missed it anyway even if he was "feelin it". If you cut Suisham, and bring in the next guy, you haven't solved anything. FG kicking is unreliable by nature, and we should be going for it when at all possible.
