The defense has played well this year, but Blache does doesn't understand defense, even 10% of what Williams does. He's predictable, they can't change out of his piss poor calls, and he's particually ineffective on third downs when we need to get off the field. I like him as a line coach, but he's got to go as our coordinator.

Springs came back, and benched Rogers so he could play his boys, Hall and Mike Green. Then, with our three best CBs healthy, he's got Smoot covering Houshmanzadeh and Hall on Chad Johnson.

When our defense plays this poorly against the Bengals offense, I don't think we can defend him coming back. I don't think the unit as a whole is poorly coached, but every offensive coordinator we face outcoaches Blache, which was never an issue with Williams.
