It's unfortunate that the call got overturned and later we fumbled, because we had basically done all the work it takes to get back in the game. But even the fumble was a bad call because Sellers was clearly stopped for two or three seconds before they blew the whistle and ruled touchback. Great job, morons. Way to play it off like you didn't screw up either. Remember, our offense only got into trouble when we tried to rely on the running game. Our passing game had it's way with them. They had no pressure on Campbell, and he picked the intermediate zones apart.

If it quit it wouldn't have scored 13 points. Bottom line, Sellers screwed up with that fumble.

Can we stop throwing the term "Quit" around when that's clearly not the problem?

"Clearly" not the problem? I don't see how anyone can say that. If scoring 13 points against one of the worst teams in the league is all it takes to prove to you that they truly are Spartans, then have at it. They stunk up the joint with the playoffs on the line against the Cincinnati Bengals. So yes, in my book this team has quit. |

Performance in a single game is not evidence for much, especially an outlandish accusation. When the Bucs were down 14-0 to the Lions just two weeks ago, I guess the only logical conclusion, according to you, is that they quit on Jon Gruden. Nevermind the rest of the game. The start of the game on the road apparently is evidence enough for you to draw a conclusion (that isn't necessarily supported by the evidence anyway).

I don't see what is so "outlandish" about it. You can parse words and call it whatever you want. Either way the results speak for themselves. |

Dude, get real. The Skins were completely flat in the first quarter. They started fighting in the second quarter. But you could tell after Cooley fumbled the defense was not emotionally up, and they came out and got ran up on by Cedric Benson.

Here's the point: you can't assume that the team coming out flat is because of any coaching issue. Sometimes, the opponent just capitalizes on the sudden change opportunity. The sample size isn't big enough to claim a conclusive evidence. I'm glad Cedric Benson almost got 3.5 yards per carry against us and thusly we can assume that someone wasn't trying.
