One of the many fallouts from the housing bubble is that a lot of people who really should be sweeping up on a construction site or digging ditches wound up owning their own businesses and some of them actually made money for a while. Party's over now, though.

Law suits for poor work are not covered by insurance. Insurance coveres things they damage by accident or if they cut a water pipe or cause a fire etc...
