What I don't get is why you would participate in a stupid thread by posting on it.

If you didn't have interest in a thread why post on it? Go to the next interesting thread as there many to sift through.

You have to be really bored or really opinionated to come up with "This thread is stupid" and go through the to steps share that with others.

I don't know which one lacks more value?...a stupid thread or a stupid post?...It's ponderously abstract.
