Andre Reed's stats are better than Art Monk's stats in every category. Interesting that Monk got in before Reed...
Art Modell belongs in the HoF before Tagliabue does. Modell was one of the people that made the NFL/AFL merger work; he agreed to transfer his franchise to the far less popular AFC. Modell was also VERY important in the business of getting national and local TV coverage for every team. The mayor of Cleveland was as much to blame for the Browns leaving for Baltimore as was Art Modell. Claude Humphrey and Bob Hayes would be worthy inductees too.
