On a side note I just heard on ComCast that the Redskins have denied the Houston Texans permission to talk to Gray about the DC job in Houston, saying he was still under contract to us. His agent is saying the Redskins do not have the right to stop him from talking to Houston. It's gonna get interesting.

That's a strange move by the Skins. I thought you could only prevent a team from contacting a coach for a lateral move. If Houston wants him as DC how can the Redskins stop them unless they name Gray assistant DC or something?

It is a strange move and his agent is saying the same thing. I just heard it briefly on ComCast. I have a feeling we'll hear alot more very soon.

I guess he will be considered as our DC after next season.
