Not sure about being their best player but he is the heart and soul of that team and brings leadership.
I might offer him a 1 or 2 year contract but you have to watch the money as Suggs and their other LB (?) are up for new contracts also. They are on the up side of their careers where Lewis is on the down side.
I'm sure that the owner will work something out as he has stated that Lewis is staying in Baltimore.

He's not their best player right now (Ed Reed), but he's the best player in Raven's history IMO.

FYI espn had a fan poll for all NFL teams to rank the ten best players ever for their team and the Ravens chose Matt Stover number one over Ray Lewis and Jonathan Ogden.

Is that what you believe? I don't know but I would bet the Ravens would argue that point. When I think Ravens I think Ray Lewis.

No. I would say Ray, that was an Espn fan poll (so that might explain it), but when I kid Ravens fans that fans consider a kicker their number one player, they do credit Stover as the man who kept there Super Bowl season afloat.

Crazy Ravens fans, All i know is it must be nice to have Lewis and Reed.
If I was them I wouldn't change a thing. Flacco's only getting better.

That other linebacker is Bart Scott. Wouldnt mind getting him if the price is right
