The Skins need to transform into Tennessee in this equation. They need to be the team that drafts players like Haynesworth, not the one that signs him as a 29 year old free agent.

Ideally, you'd love to have your FO run like a well oiled machine and consistently pluck gems from the draft, but this is reality. Dan and Vinny run the show. Additionally, blue chip players like Haynesworth are extremely rare.

Do as the Steelers do. Pay them once, pay them twice, but let some other sucker pay them the third time.
