Hall's sure to be a leader back there and the DL is going to have a lot of fun.

Like the player hate the money. but I voted "I like the French Fries" only cause that's such a great out in left field answer. lol.

I havn't read all the posts but some where saying that should tie up all our money however they are to meet with Canty today. It was reported on ESPN he would arrive today and meet with us. So they are either digging money up from somewhere or planning on letting other people go if he signs.

Re: Albert Haynesworth is a Redskin!!!!

I voted "Like the player, hate the money" simply because I'm not sure that he'll continue to be the disruptive force he has been. He's one of those guys who can get a little lazy and I don't know if I trust Blache to use him correctly. He freelanced a lot in Tennessee and Washington has not, traditionally, allowed their DTs to do that. I hope it ends up being a great deal, I'm just going to have to take a wait-and-see approach right now.

Actually, I think the backfield of Hall/Rogers is going to be fine - as long as they can work together, I think their styles will be complimentary. Can Smoot be a vialble 3rd corner anymore? dunno.

We have not had a DT that was worth anything in forever.

Daryll Gardner was the last beast we had at that position and it was short lived

Yeah Gardener was the last true force in the middle we've had. Before that I would go with Sean Gilbert.

Re: Albert Haynesworth is a Redskin!!!!

Back to Haynesworth - Playing the Cowboys (and Gurode) may be a constant reminder to him that he almost lost the privilege of playing the game. Of course, 41M guarranteed money can make one feel incredibly privileged anyway.

As a change-up on 3rd down, Haynesworth-Griff-Monty- Carter or JT would look pretty stout.
