Re: Dockery coming back to Redskins
They have done one hell of a job in getting and signing these players but I'll reserve my excitement until next years regular season. I still want to see if Vinny will draft for "needs", instead of the best player available. Even with the addition of Dockery, there are still holes on the offensive line that needs to be filled and their 1st pick should address that, if not, watch JC scramble in the back field like a chicken with it's head cut off and the JC apologists make more excuses for his lack of leadership and lack of QB skills.
Vinny needs to make the offensive line his top priority in the draft, so as to give JC maximum protection and give him this one last shot to prove that he can be the "Franchise Quarterback" that people seem to think he can be. No more excuses.

By far a fantastic move here! Good price, a younger lineman in Redskins term and someone who will help bring along the younger ones from the draft!

Re: Dockery coming back to Redskins
Everyone slurping the FO shouldn't be IMO. If history has taught us anything about the Redskins and free agency, it's to reserve judgement until Sunday afternoons this coming fall.
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy we are addressing needs with high caliber players. But we've won the offseason Super Bowl a bunch of times under The Danny, and it hasn't turned into success on the field. I'm gonna play wait and see on this, but I'm definitely encouraged by the moves.

As far as reseving judgement til Sunday afternoons, History has shown its a Sunday to Sunday thing with the Skins regardless of what kind of team we have or have had. But I know what your saying GMScud. No slurping yet, I agree

We've had big money guys (who seemed like solid signings at the time) flop in the past, so for that reason our FO hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt with me. I will however give them credit thus far for realizing our glaring needs (O/D-line) and singing a few of the best players out there to fill the gaps.

Re: Dockery coming back to Redskins
I understand that. But in the past we've spent gillions of dollars on players the front office deemed fit to give us the best chance to win and they weren't even close, despite offseason speculation that we had done a good job in FA. Therefore I reserve judgement for the most part.
