Springs might land with Pats. Someone had mentioned this when Springs was cut....I think SSmack.....(The ESPN Insider)?
If true and he gets a deal then I surely didn't see this one coming. But they do like the old guys at the end of their career. Usually they pickup the ones the can still ball consistently. Which Springs has been anything but. Good luck. Free-agent cornerback Leigh Bodden visited the Pats on Friday, but reportedly left without a contract.
