Olshansky isn't good, and I'm guessing he's looking for multiple years plus guaranteed cash. No reason to chase for him, in my opinion.

I'd look to add any older guy who will take a two year contract with less than 30% guaranteed. Look at Kevin Carter, Bertrand Berry, Paul Spicer, Marques Douglas, or Anthony Weaver.

Or Daniels at the vet min for a single year is fine.

Wasn't he a high draft pick and a starter on a pretty good SD defense for the last few years?? I know he played end in a 3-4 but if he's out there we should take a look at him. I'd be willing to say he's way better than any of our current options.

He was a second rounder in 2005. He did enjoy a good season in 2006, but he's been hurt, and SD never made a half-ass effort to retain him.

He's young, but does not appear to be explosive enough to be worth a lot of guaranteed money.

For a short two-year "show me" deal, we could absolutely do worse though.
