Redskins Reportedly Bringing OLs Elton Brown and Ray Willis in for Visit

I just saw Jason Reid on ComCast and he said we're talking to Willis. He sounded optimistic to me about signing him. He also said feelers were sent out to see if Marcus would be interested in coming back but didn't sound as optimistic about that.

We'll see. I'm not getting the impression they really want Willis all that much. That's not to say they aren't going to sign him, just that I'm getting a lukewarm vibe from them

I would say that a lukewarm reaction is probably a good thing. I wouldn't want the reaction to be totally out of line with his skill level.

I hope we're more serious about him than DJ Hackett though.

Well, I don't know what the offer (if any) to Willis ultimately was, but I sure got the feeling all along that it probably wasn't going to be much and I guess whatever it was, wasn't enough

He could have easily used the Redskins offer as a bargaining chip or something. I think they should go after Brown.

You are acting like he is Erik Williams. If they sign him, he will be more like Robin Williams.

Put it this way, I haven't heard that Seattle is salary cap strapped, so there is a reason he is expendable.

Huh......Marcus OR Mason if Mason? So based on a few pre-season games....you consider Mason a stud? Not much of a body of work to consider someone that didn't even make the 53 man squad a stud...ya think?

Marcus or Mason? umm. it was a joke. Yes I do like Mason. I think if given a few years to develope he would be special no different then JC, Kelly, Thomas, Davis, Tryon, etc.

The joke was someone put up feelers put out for Marcus coming back.
