Re: Anti-Marijuana Ad Targets Video Game Players
didn't they need a breathe test or some way for cops to get proof of DUI before they can legalize it? I think that was one of the hurdles.

Re: Anti-Marijuana Ad Targets Video Game Players
Maybe, but there's no breath test for stuff like cocaine and other hard drugs though. A field sobriety test is all a cop needs.

I think it's more about no one wanting to stand up and be the guy to say I'm gonna push for drug legalization. Bill O'Reilly would hit the roof.

Re: Anti-Marijuana Ad Targets Video Game Players
Watch this doc then come back and we can talk about how much of a waste and fraud the war on drugs is.
American Drug War: The Last White Hope - War on Drugs Locking up non-voilent drug users is this biggest joke and waste of US tax dollars, why not help these people instead of amplifying their problem? Best line from that doc is this: Betty Ford had a drug problem (alcohol) they built a clinic for her, Robert Downey JR had a drug problem also (cocaine) they threw him in jail. Does that make sense to you? Also catch the the Cocaine Cowboys, that is a awesome doc as well. Cocaine Cowboys (2006)

Re: Anti-Marijuana Ad Targets Video Game Players
This one baffles me. I have never understood why the government doesn't legalize and regulate it. I think mredskins off-hand point of pot-smokers being lazy probably is as close to a reason as any since no group is going to lead the charge on this one. of course it could be that everyone fears the fate of the . I Love that clip!!

Think what a economic boon it would be for the potato chip, and snack food industries?

Yeah, I'd certainly invest in Frito-Lay, Krisky Kreme, and whoever makes Doritos quick if this legislation was about to pass.

Re: Anti-Marijuana Ad Targets Video Game Players
So once legalized what is a fair price for a 20 pack of ciggaweed? Can people grow it at home? Because if they can, that shit ain't getting taxed.

Re: Anti-Marijuana Ad Targets Video Game Players
I'm not sure about an adjusted price if it were legalized, but i have an idea. My buddy has a prescription and according to him, all the dispensaries sell it at about street value. Depending on strain, an eighth is around 50-70. I'm guessing since it's illegal in most places, the price is naturally driven up. Keep it around street prices when it's legal and people can still make a profit (even with taxation) since there's less links on the distribution chain.

Re: Anti-Marijuana Ad Targets Video Game Players
That is what I am saying the convenince of it being in the store. not everyone is going to try to grow the stuff.
Even simplier example. I could have made dinner last night but it was easier to order out pizza and the pizza was taxed.
