Redskins resign Doughty

I don't mean to quible but, Doughty and Horton played both SS and FS during pre-season and Horton saw action last year during games at FS for a few plays when Landry was blitzing.
So i don't think your statement is accurate.

Doughty and Kareem Moore also saw action last year in the Cobra package as SS/LB/CB hybrids.

Landry has always been a FS, he only played SS b/c Taylor (rip) was a Pro-Bowl FS.

With Landry, Horton, Doughty and Moore i'm happy with the depth at Safety, my only concern is with Doughty's injury i wish they could have found a way to keep Springs b/c he was an insurance policy at S.
