The rankings themselves are mathematically based at positions like QB, RB, WR, CB, S, and DL...but I did create the 79 scale myself, so I guess they become my own ratings.

Positions like FB, OL, LB where the ratings can't be based much on data are a best guess by me to place them on the 79 scale based on how they've been used, and thusly, obviously subject to human error and bias.
