anyone else remember Jack Nicholson in "A Few Good Men"
Col. Jessep: Absolutely. My answer is I don't have the first *** clue. Maybe he was an early riser and liked to pack in the morning. And maybe he didn't have any friends. I'm an educated man, but I'm afraid I can't speak intelligently about the travel habits of William Santiago. What I do know is that he was set to leave the base at 0600. Now, are these the questions I was really called here to answer? Phone calls and foot lockers? Please tell me that you have something more, Lieutenant. These two Marines are on trial for their lives. Please tell me their lawyer hasn't pinned their hopes to a phone bill.

absolutely awesome scene

Re: Mark Sanchez at 13th?

That would be a dream scenario to pick up a late 1st & a second or 3rd for our pick. A boy can dream...

Re: Mark Sanchez at 13th?

The irony about a trade to Minnesota or Tampa is that the Vikings and Bucs both run the WCO that apparently Campbell can't master here in DC.

Sanchez is going to be another Leinhart and would be a wasted first round pick. If Carroll even says he isn't ready, I wouldn't take a gamble on him. Only one year under his belt at USC doesn't mean he is automatically NFL grade yet. Everyone has him going to Seattle in their mocks and I hope they are right. We need linemen on either side of the ball!!!!!!!!!

I would have to agree with you. He definitely needs a few years of grooming. Seattle would be ideal for him. He could elarn under Hasselbeck whos probably got 2-3 more years in the tank (if his body holds up).

Leinart has screwed himself over with his party habits. From what I've read Sanchez doesn't have that problem.

The plot thickens.. Jets interested in Campbell - Redskins 360 - Washington Times

It'd be nice to get a 3rd and a conditional pick in '10 based on production or an extension. Wishful thinking, I know

This is mostly a fleshing out of an article Smoot posted earlier. All these rumors and innuendos do nothing more than aggravate the fans. No one of ANY credibility has come out and said that this stuff has any real basis.
Having said that, the draft certainly can't get here fast enough!

Latest rumor from where I sit has the Bucs and Skins very, very close to a deal that gets Campbell to Tampa and a low 2nd coming here (so low it's almost a third). Since the Bucs don't have a 2nd round pick, I don't believe they do anymore, I'm not sure how that deal happens exactly. Clearly there's another team involved that would get something from Tampa I presume. And over the next 48 hours the difference between "very, very close" and "dead in the water" is minimal.

All this depends of course on if they can get Sanchez (1st, 3rd, and 2nd in 2010 I think was what I last heard)

Otherwise it's Clay Matthews at 13 (or some USC LB)

Is that at #4 to Seattle? Assuming we do the TB deal, that's not terrible. We'd change QB and move into the 2nd round rather than the third. Same net number of picks and minus one next year. Of course I'd rather stand pat, trade up for Orapko at #9 or trade down but if it's gonna go down, I don't mind this deal.

Yeah Seattle, I heard a Moss (Santana, not Randy) to Titans 3rd round rumor as well. But it sounded kind of shaky.

So that would mean that all of our WR hopes would be placed on ARE, Thomas and Kelly. :confused-

Can an NFL team that just 8 months ago traded for Jason Taylor accept LESS compensation for their 27 year old QB? Stay tuned!

Re: Mark Sanchez at 13th?

I'm so fed up with all the rumors and crap (if they are real) and draft the "Dirty Sanchez" and get rid of Campbell, that I hope it blows up in their face. Maybe the FO will learn their lesson for once and for all to quit ****ING with these team.
