If we get Cutler should we hire Shanahan ?

GTripp thinks I am comparing just the QBs talents with me talkiing about Gus and JC, but it is not just that, it is the fact that a lot of us hoped Gus could breakout as well as Patrick. Maybe he(Jason) will this season and I will look like an ass, but IMHO I think we have pretty much seen what we are going to be getting out of him already. Keep JC around and if he is just average(nothing really special) let him go and go with Colt. I am not sold on Colt either and that is why I think if we want to make a big move, it will be to try and secure either McCoy or Bramford in the 2010 draft. Doing this Cutler thing will cost us at least one first rounder, maybe two, or other multiple picks. We need first rounders to build around. The NFC East isn't the AFC West and Cutler might get killed here. A very big risk!!!

I agree. I still think Gus gets mentioned too often though.

Before anyone starts speculating on getting Cutler and Shanahan, how about letting Zorn coach this year? Screw Shanahan and Cutler, I would rather have Dungy if Zorn has a bad year and is fired..
