Yeah seriously, case in point: Atlanta. They got two major players and they made it into the playoffs. Big change from the previous year's performance.

Absolutely correct. Try to sneak your way into the playoffs and then it becomes like a lottery.

A better question is: Are we in a position to contend long-term, year after year? My answer is no. We need to do more work before that happens and that work can only unfold through several successful drafts.
