Re: What's Your Mock Draft?
Tripp you beat me to the punch with Curry!
1) Stafford 2) Curry (I don't see how a defensive minded coach like Spagnulo can pass on the highest rated player/LB that could be the center piece for his defense. 3) Orakpo 4) Seattle trades out someone takes Sanchez 5) Michael Crabtree 6) Eugene Monroe 7) Jeremy Maclin 8) Jason Smith 9) BJ Raji 10) Andre Smith 11) Robert Ayers 12) Tyson Jackson 13) Trade Down or Rey Maualuga |

Re: What's Your Mock Draft?
There will definitely be trading in the 7-12 range. All those teams want to go down in the draft, and the teams who need QBs/OTs will have plenty of opportunity to jump in front of us to get there.

...I think this could help us for instance if a late rd team really wants a top RB they probaby trade w/ us cuz the Saints pick at 14 and are now pretty set to take one

Re: What's Your Mock Draft?
Does any team need a RB so desperately that they'll trade up to get him?

Re: What's Your Mock Draft?
Great question...I can't know the answer but looking at the draft order I see the Eagles, Pats and Cards all picking in the bottom third of the 1st round right now and each has it own precarious RB situation. Philly lost Buckhalter to Denver, leaving just Westbrook. I mean Westbrook is always a threat but not a true between the tackles RB and Reid isn't gonna forget which division he plays in...NFC east teams need a workhorse. I won't be surprised if the Eagles trade up to grab a top RB. The Pats have Moroney, who is surprisingly injury prone for his age. Basically I think RB is the weak link to the Pats offense so yeah if they're looking to upgrade the offense significantly it could make sense for 'em to trade. Not too sure about the AZ RB situation. Does the Edge even want to stay? And is Hightower a legit #1 back...I don't think they relied on him through the playoffs.

Re: What's Your Mock Draft?
One with trades and one without ,1st no trades.
1) Det - Matt Stafford 2) St. Louis - Aaron Curry 3) KC - Eugene Monroe 4) Sea - Michael Crabtree 5) Cle - Malcolm Jenkins 6) Cin - Andre Smith 7) Oak - BJ Raji 8) Jax -J.Maclin 9) GB - Brian Orakpo 10) SF - M.Shanchez 11) Buf - Jason Smith 12) Den - Rey Maualuga 13) Wash - Tyson Jackson 14) NO - Everet Brown 15) Hou -Brian Cushing 16) SD - Clay Matthews 17) NYJ - Bernie Wells 18) Den - A.Maybin 19) TB - Robert Ayers 20) Det - A.Mack 21) Phili -K.Monroe 22) VIK - Dey Hey Bay 23) Pat - B.Pettigrew 24) Atl - Vonte Davis 25) Dolp - P.Jerry 26) Rav - H.Nicks 27) Colt - K.Britt 28) Phili - M.Oher 29) Giant - D.Butler 30) Tit - B.Robskie 31) Card - D.Brown 32) Pitt - P.Landot 33) Det - E.Britton 34) Pat - C.Barwin 35) Ram - W.Betty 36) Clev - J.Larintius 37) Sea - L.McCoy As a side note i think these players are alittle over rated... J.Smith , B.Orkpo , M.Standford , V.DAvis and D.Brown These ones greatly over rated... J.Macklin (a great kick returner ,only good wr) ,M.Oher ( i dont think hes anywhere near the top three ot) and J.Larintius ( supposed to be smart ,but game film shows him waiting for the ball carrier to come to him ,he doesnt attack the ball) These ones slightly under rated.... A.Smith ( i think hes the best olinemen in draft ,but since his body isnt spartan looking his stock has fallen. But his film shows a nasty blocker who doesnt stop till the whistle blows) , M.Jenkins ( only db worth taking in round one ,and is versital ,well polished and aggresive ) , Marcus Freeman olb ( with the usc lb's getting so much press and so many de's converting to lb's ,i think he just got lost in the fray. but he has good instinct and always seems to be near the ball) And only one player i see really under vauled is ... Kenny Britt wr - Hes super tuff ,consitant , good run after the catch. The combine has put to much focus on speed ,so players like hey bey , Harvin and Macklin get all the press. ONe of thouse might pan out ,the other two could be out of the leauge in a couple years.

Re: What's Your Mock Draft?
Denver really likes Orton so I doubt they draft Sanchez... We may even move up in the draft according to what McShay just said on sportscenter.

Re: What's Your Mock Draft?
My revised mock
1. Lions-Stafford 2. Rams-Sanchez (this would solve all our problems) 3. Jaguars (trade with Chiefs)-Crabtree 4. Seahawks-Jason Smith 5. Browns-Curry 6. Bengals-Eugene Monroe 7. Raiders-Maclin 8. Chiefs-Jackson 9. Packers-Raji 10. 49ers-Andre Smith 11. Bills-Maybin 12. Broncos-Matthews 13. Redskins-Orakpo (unless the Bills take Orakpo and then we take Maybin) Oher is still the wild card here. I like him, I think the Redskins like him but something tells me they are not convinced he's the best option at #13
