Yeah, talk about a falling star. If Betts was ever worth anything, it would have been just after the 2006 season when he took over for Portis. He rushed for more yards over a five game stretch than any running back in Redskins history.

But now, I don't know if we could give him away.

Didn't really have a backup in place but wouldn't have minded trading him then. We probably held on because of Portis having been hurt and never knowing what could happen with that
