After watching Meredith's epic slide, I'm more willing to give a pass to the FO on that one. Bottom line is they have one really good corner and one really highly paid corner. After that there is actually not much there. Smoot is no good, Tryon has shown nothing, Westbrook has never gotten past the practice squad. They lacked size and (honestly) depth at the position. Especially if Barnes can play the nickel slot that Shawn Springs played (and no one else on the roster has really played at all) then it could actually be a solid pick. I still wonder why Meredith is falling so hard.
