Re: Meet Cody Glenn
Thank you Vinny for another A-class selection. You could have selected Meredith, or Robinson, but you went with a weak side linebacker, not that we need a Strong side linebacker, or that we already have McIntosh and Thomas on the weak side, you ignored the fact that he has only played one year at LB, because he couldn't play RB anymore because of his knee, ankle problems. You overlooked that, bringing this stellar talent to the redskins that can our obvious weak side linebacker voids. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Vinny for ignoring reason and bringing us such stellar talent.

Re: Meet Cody Glenn
Fifth round, so no talent can come out of 5th round? Let me name a few Talents that came out of the SIXTH round for you, Tom Brady, Terrell Davis, and Shannon Sharp. This guy has no potential, $20 bucks says he won't be on the team next year. Try not to speak out your ass next time.

Re: Meet Cody Glenn
Chris Horton, Marques Colston 7th rounders. All of these players have/had immense potential, they are players who have been plagued by injury, nor have they been on the other side of the ball for their entire careers. This guy was an unproductive RB for the three years before he switched to become an underproductive LB. C'mon, we all know the late round are a shit shoot but at least go for players who have POTENTIAL to become something great, this guy might play special teams if we're lucky.

Let's face it, people said Brady had no potential, or he would not have made it to the 6th round.

Re: Meet Cody Glenn
The problem people had with Brady was he was the most "unathletic" quarterback that they had ever seen, they didn't think that he could avoid the rush in the pocket. Other than there weren't really ny glaring negatives on Brady.

Re: Meet Cody Glenn
C'mon guys....toughin up, maybe go change your diaper. The guy calls someone an ass, and everyone gets their feelings hurt, lol.
Anyways........Duke Robinson would have been nice. And "late" rounders are a crap shoot, but taking someone that wasnt gonna be picked is plain stupid. Like has already been said, Id like to see them at least address a need when your rolling the dice. |

Re: Meet Cody Glenn
Come on guys. We're expecting too much. We already had our one sensible pick with Orakpo. To go corner and weakside LB when our primary needs are tackle and SAM... Whatever. This Cody Glenn kid has only been a LB since spring of 2008 when injuries forced him to quit playing RB, plus he was suspended last year for a few games for violating team rules.
In summary, we drafted a guy with character issues who has only played LB for a handful of college games, at a position we don't really need. Sweet.
