Think about it, other than Dockery, every significant offseason aquisition has been on the defensive side of the ball. Haynesworth, Hall, Orakpo, Barnes. Sure it had its issues late in the game, but was our defense THAT bad?!?!

Well I guess added pressure for the offensive players taken in last year's draft (the WRs, Fred Davis, and Rineheart)

I agree. There is a lot more pressure for these players to produce, we let them develop, and adjust to NFL game speed last year, as well as some time for the WRs to recover from their various injuries (other than Kelly's degenerative knee condition). But i think Dock and Williams (hopefully his back has recovered enough over the past few years), I like the way our line is shaping up, I think we could have used a couple of young bodies from the draft, but, Vinny almighty decided against it. But, the REAL key, is whether Jason Campbell can take more of a leadership role, increase his play recognition, and start making those throws down field. This will prevent defenses from stacking the box like we witnessed in the last half of last season starting with the Steelers.
