No don't even go to that extreme. Phone companys are the biggest lay downs in the sales world. eligible or not you can get them to upgrade for you. They'll put up a fight at first but if you threaten to go to another carrier and pay you early termination they'll hook it up for you. Enjoy the phone

This is very true. When I was with US Cellular they would do anything possible to keep me happy when I complained about my bills. (Even though it was usually my fault for going over.) I with AT&T now and have an Iphone 3G and absolutely love it. I cant see myself ever going back to a regular phone. If you haven't messed around with one yet I'd recommend going to a local Best Buy or AT&T store and play with one for a while.
