Re: Glenn admits lying about suspension
"I'm trying to enjoy everything that happened Sunday with the draft," he said. "All of a sudden, I can't win for losing. I want to put this behind me and start clean in Washington and start playing football."
Well then admit why you were banned, and lol at the "All of a sudden, i can't win for losing". It must been pretty bad to wanna make up lies to a team that picked you high in the draft. |

Re: Glenn admits lying about suspension
This pick was a reach to start with. Then lying about a suspension? Thats what freakin 8 yr olds do. It sounded like a crappy suspension anyway, selling tickets to football games. Man I'm pissed, especially when we had the chance to get Meredeth or Robinson, but instead we took a chance on this clown.

Re: Glenn admits lying about suspension
Yes sir. If he is going to make it in the NFL he'll need to learn how to better handle the media.

Re: Glenn admits lying about suspension
That's why the NFL provides them with that training. As long as he behaves we won't have to worry too much about it. How much will a 5th rounder be in the media anyways off the bat. He has to worry about making the team first. This isn't directed at you, just a general reply.

Besides we're not even talking about that, Brady wasn't in the media his first year. |

Re: Glenn admits lying about suspension
The fib he told doesn't mean much at all - - - UNLESS what he actually got suspended for is something that indicates a serious character flaw.
Assuming that the FO has been in touch with the Nebraska coachiing staff AND that the coaching staff has leveled with the FO, then you can be pretty sure that whatever caused the suspension was not heinous - - allegation of child porn for example.
