Re: Predict the 2009 Opening Day Roster

I have been wondering if the Redskins could possibly cut Jon Jansen and take the Cap hit. Seems like they would have the space.

Cutting Jansen isn't an option.

Jansen is likely the only backup center on the team this year...he's not going anywhere.

He'd cost more to cut than keep. No point in cutting him now, just wait til next year.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

I didn't realize you had so much authority in these matters T.O.Killa.

I agree with most of this, but I think Heyer starts ahead of Williams, Bridges will then back up Thomas at RG. I also agree with you on Orakpo. I think the coaches will eventually realize that Orakpo can't play SAM and will put him at LDE.

I agree with you on Heyer and Bridges Vallin21. It's hard to tell about Orakpo right now. Either way, I expect him to be on the field OFTEN with the starting defense.

Re: Predict the 2009 Opening Day Roster

This ones almost perfect, except Eddie Wiliams (IR) and Marko Mitchell hit the Practice squad. Poor Marcus Mason gets cut along w/Todd Yoider

Add Chris Wilson, (G/C)Will Montgomery, (WR) Roydell Williams(Vet)
(KR) D. Dorsey Fill out the 53 Man roster!

Lol can't cut Alexander, he knows the offense and the defense. Imagine if he signed with another NFC East Team.
