I've only been watching football since 87 but i swear half the injuries today are no contact (hamstring, sprain, arm for qb), and sometimes it just seems like the players today are in too good a shape for their own good and injured easily. I noticed this in baseball where having half the team banged up seems normal and a pitcher nowadays barely gets out of the 5th. So long story short... was the level of playing just lower and easier to play hurt or not at fullspeed, or were there just as many of these injuries back then?
