Brian Mitchell let go from ESPN 980

Neither B-Mitch or Koken were fired. There contracts came up and 980 chose not to renew them. I think that people are confusing the team's financials with Snyder's other businesses. They are separate.

I think it is understandable that these would be tough times for a radio station and in my opinion I understand B-Mitch not being renewed. I don't think he offers enough insight on topics outside of football. I find him extremely knowlegeable on football issues but on most other topics, you could hear his opinions at a sports bar.

I think that Doc is the best personality on 980 but Thompson's connections are sick. He literally can and does have anyone in sports on his show. (Tiger, MJ, Dean Smith, you name it)
